Tax Sale
Each May, tax delinquent property is auctioned off at the Morgan County Courthouse to the highest bidder. Tax sale property is advertised during the month of April.
The 2024 Tax Lien Sale for the 2023 tax year will begin at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 2, 2024, and will be conducted online.

No online checks will be accepted after March 8, 2024. No online credit or debit card payments will be accepted after April 19, 2024. Payments may be made in person at the Revenue Commissioner’s Office in the form of cash, cashier’s check, or money order only. All payments must be received by Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at 4:00 PM to avoid the Tax Lien Sale on May 2, 2024.
