The Revenue Commissioner is elected by the people of Morgan County for a six year term and is responsible for the mapping, appraising, assessing, and collecting of ad valorem taxes as levied by the government. The office collects approximately 55 million dollars annually.

Since my election in 1996, I have endeavored to bring the Revenue Commissioner’s office to the people of Morgan County. You may now research your property tax data online, view GIS (Geographic Information System) data, and pay your property taxes online. I hope the information on this website is beneficial to you.

The Board of Equalization will begin hearing protests to the proposed 2015 appraised values beginning July 8, 2015. The preliminary values are available on our website under the Property Appraisal link. The last day to file a protest with the Board of Equalization will be July 2, 2015.
